Visualization as a Mindtool enables the students to see what they are learning. Visualization is most commonly used for mathematics and science to help students understand the concept and interpret the meaning. Visualization can be used in an ESL classroom because it allows the teacher to demonstrate abstract concepts that are more difficult to explain. ESL teachers no longer have to stand on their heads and draw stick figures in order to help their students understand.
Students can also learn to use the tools for describing concepts that they can not explain in English.
